What We Do

Our Mission Statement says that our mission is:
A. to provide residents of all ages within our community with therapeutic family humor via educational shows and individual performances at hospitals, nursing homes, daycare centers, schools (public and special needs), senior centers, headstart programs and the like. These performances are geared to enhance self-esteem, build character and heighten mental and physical health, and
B. to assure a high level of quality clowning performance through training and continuing education for all members of the Alley, and
C.  to promote, preserve and present the time-honored profession of clowning.
- bring fun and laughter to:
    ~ patients in hospitals,
    ~ students in schools and libraries
    ~ members of local senior groups
and their families, friends and care-givers.
- assist other charitable organizations in their fund-raising efforts by entertaining the participants who attend the walk-a-thons and other functions held by those organizations.
- participate with civic organizations to promote community involvement in local parades, picnics, street fairs and the like.
recruit and train individuals who have the time to provide volunteer service to the public and who wish to join our organization in order to spread joy and laughter - - to transform their innate capabilities and talents into the skills required to perform as Caring Clowns.
- and, in addition, we donate a portion of the funds which we have received to other worthwhile charities.
